Aquilla ISD sets 2024–25 tax rate at $1.11070, slight decrease from prior year

At its Aug. 26 meeting, the Aquilla ISD Board of Trustees adopted a resolution setting the 2024–25 tax rate at a combined $1.11070 per $100 valuation. The maintenance and operations (M&O) portion was set at $0.75520 and the interest and sinking (I&S) portion at $0.35550, a slight decrease from the prior total rate of $1.113. Trustee Will Pinner read the resolution and Trustee Kevin Clepper seconded; the board approved the measure unanimously.
Board members did not request changes to the proposed rates during discussion. The resolution will be posted per statutory requirements and reflected in the district’s tax-rate calculations for the coming fiscal year.
