The Cherokee ISD Board of Education approved Policy Update 127 at its June 9 meeting, adopting revisions to a set of policy codes listed in the superintendent’s presentation. Superintendent Jennifer Bordner characterized the changes as minor adjustments and additions to existing policies; Rodney Johnson moved to approve the updates and Valerie Valdez seconded the motion, which passed unanimously.
