Ector ISD board sets 2024–25 tax rate at $0.8819
On Aug. 29 the Ector ISD Board approved a resolution setting the 2024 tax rate at a total of $0.8819 per $100 valuation — $0.7469 for maintenance and operations and $0.1350 for debt service — by a 6–0 vote with one member absent.

The Ector ISD Board of Trustees voted Aug. 29 to set the district’s 2024 tax rate at $0.8819 per $100 of assessed value, composed of a maintenance & operations (M&O) rate of $0.7469 and an interest & sinking (I&S) debt service rate of $0.1350. Jordan Sells moved to adopt the recommended rate and April Hill seconded; the motion carried 6–0 with Shane Ball absent.
