Following an executive session, the board accepted the resignation of Joanna Vaden and voted to extend Dr. Jennifer Ingram's contract by one year. Both motions were recorded as carried 5-0 in the Feb. 16 minutes.

The Evant ISD Board of Trustees convened in executive session at 7:35 PM and returned to open session at 9:13 PM on Feb. 16, 2026. After returning to open session the board voted to accept the resignation of Joanna Vaden; the motion by Keli Torres, seconded by Stevan Stanford, carried 5-0.
