The Forney ISD Board of Trustees voted to award a contract extension for security guard services to United Protective Services during its May 26 meeting. Associate Superintendent John Chase presented the recommendation and Board Secretary Becky Dobbs moved to award the contract; Board Member Michael Idemudia supported the motion and the board approved it 5–0.
