Frost ISD approves program donations, purchasing cooperatives and policy updates

At its Dec. 15 meeting the Frost ISD board approved several operational items by unanimous votes. The board approved FYSA donations to the baseball and softball programs (motion by Don Ballew, seconded by Jason Curl); authorized district participation in both the TIPS and BuyBoard purchasing cooperatives (motions moved by Josh Martin and Jason Curl, respectively); approved Policy Update 126 to include both LEGAL and LOCAL policy changes (motion by Jason Curl, seconded by Michael Welborn); and approved updates to the district's Guardian Plan (motion by Josh Martin, seconded by Jason Curl). All motions carried 7-0 according to the minutes.
