Phil Johnson presented Resolution #62-26 asking the board to authorize execution and delivery of IRS Form 1098‑F to the county's retained attorneys handling opioid distribution claims. Phil said a settlement could involve punitive damages and that some of a settlement may be taxable; the form provides the county's tax‑exempt information (tax ID, name, address) to assist counsel. William Bateson moved for approval; Timothy Bechtol seconded and the motion passed 3-0.
