Superintendent Lyon briefed the board on progress toward district bond facilities and highlighted a preliminary B rating for the elementary campus pending release by the Texas Education Agency. Lyon also listed upcoming district activities including a district vulnerability assessment (TEA—spring 2025), an intruder detection audit in 2025, and leadership communication and appraisal training scheduled for the month.
