At its Sept. 11 meeting the Garner ISD Board of Trustees voted 4–0 to set regular monthly meeting start times to 6:30 p.m., with three trustees absent. The change specifies the Garner ISD cafeteria as the meeting location.

The Garner Independent School District Board of Trustees voted Sept. 11 to change the start time for its regular monthly meetings to 6:30 p.m. Trustee Kiley Zylman moved the change and Trustee Brandi Horton seconded; the motion passed 4–0 with Trustees John Bradberry, Brett Hobson and Cathy Rogers recorded as absent. "Move that we change the start time for the regular monthly board meetings to 6:30 in the Garner ISD cafeteria," the motion read in the minutes.
