Village OKs Republic Services contract amendment extending term and adding compounded 4% annual increases

A Republic representative was in the audience to take questions. The board approved the ordinance by roll call (6–0).
Implications: the amendment will increase residential collection costs incrementally through the extended term and commits future budget capacity; staff did not provide an estimated total cost projection for the village over the extension during the meeting.
