Board approves multiple personnel recommendations after executive session
Following an executive session on personnel, the board approved a slate of certified and non-certified staff appointments and term assignments, voting 7-0 to confirm the recommended personnel list.

The Jefferson ISD board convened in executive session at 8:14 p.m. to discuss personnel matters and reconvened in open session at 9:37 p.m. After the executive session, Michael Walker recommended approval of a list of personnel changes, including certified professionals on two-year terms (for example, Tim Phy, Courtney Braddock, Lindsey Whitaker, Joel Windham, Troy Tatum, Lynn Phillips and others) and several non-certified professionals on 12-month or 11-month terms. Mr. Joey Romano moved to approve the personnel needs as presented; Mr. Rusty Mauldin seconded and the motion carried 7-0.
