Infrastructure Committee reports fairgrounds renovations, Election Board office progress

Douglas Warr, Vice-Chairman, reported to the Budget Board that the Infrastructure Committee met Aug. 28 and that county fairgrounds renovations have reached a stage where a ribbon-cutting ceremony is being planned. Warr said he toured the new Election Board office with Bryant Rains and described progress there and ongoing construction and improvements at the Sheriff's Office.
