County approves transfers for fairgrounds training and corrects insurance refund posting
The board approved a $3,000 transfer to fund fairgrounds employee training and approved a $21,997 transfer to correct an insurance refund posted to the wrong account, reallocating $7,500 to sheriff personnel and $14,497 to the detention center.

The Cleveland County Budget Board approved two separate transfer actions on Sept. 8. First, the board approved a $3,000 transfer from Fairgrounds Revolving Fund capital (128700-55000) to Fairgrounds Revolving Fund travel (128700-53000) to cover employee training; the motion was moved by Chris Amason and seconded by Marilyn Williams and carried unanimously.
