Denise Kennedy, director of student initiatives, joined principals Jennifer Bryant (SSE), Kerri Blevins (LDE) and Ashley Fay (CE) to present the Elementary Innovation Plan at the Lake Dallas ISD board workshop on Feb. 2, 2026. The plan presentation covered a proposed timeline, a list of existing specials, proposed new "innovative specials," and a draft campus schedule intended to shift how specials and instructional blocks are organized across elementary campuses.
