Trustees hear construction progress, approve baseball field change order
Trustees received updates on campus veneer repairs, fire-escape stair work and baseball-field construction and approved a related change order. Contractors told the board the project remains on schedule; the change order passed unanimously.

The Liberty ISD Board of Trustees received a construction update July 21, hearing that major veneer repairs are complete and that work on campus fire-escape stairs and the district baseball field is ongoing. Grady Slaydon and Caine, a project manager with SETEX, told trustees stair sets B and D are mostly complete, stair sets B and C remain priorities before school starts, and temporary handrails will be used until permanent ones are installed.
