The Llano ISD Board of Trustees voted 7-0 to adopt a resolution supporting Llano County's application to the Texas Secretary of State to participate in the Countywide Polling Place Program. Trustee Paul Hull moved to approve the resolution; Trustee Jeff Kuykendall seconded the motion.
The resolution notes that the Llano County Commissioners Court and Elections Administrator held public meetings on April 14, 2026 and that the county proposed using seven of nine current election-day precinct locations as countywide polling places. The board stated the countywide approach could offer voters greater flexibility and reduce provisional ballots. The board’s action is a formal expression of support; implementation and any change to precinct locations are decisions for county elections officials and the Secretary of State.
