The Mount Vernon ISD Board of Trustees approved a Guardian Program at its May 11 meeting on a 5-1 vote. The motion to approve was made by Cathy Lawrence-Robinson and seconded by Kyle Clayton; board member Donny Richards recorded a Nay while the remaining trustees voted in favor.
