Trustees unanimously approved a district plan to delay HB2 teacher certification requirements so currently employed uncertified foundation teachers can remain while completing certification steps.

Marble Falls ISD trustees approved the district's HB2 implementation plan on Feb. 23, 2026, allowing currently employed uncertified foundation teachers additional time to complete certification requirements. Dr. Missy Barrington presented the plan and the Board approved it on a motion by Kevin Naumann, seconded by Crystal Tubig; the motion passed unanimously.
