Board approves material testing contract and multiple bond project change-order credits

The Pasadena ISD Board of Trustees approved a Material Testing Services Agreement with Raba Kistner, Inc. for the New Softball Complex project in the amount of $212,856.00 at the Feb. 24 meeting.
Trustees also approved multiple final change orders for 2022 bond projects that reduced contract amounts: a $164,907.91 credit for HVAC/BAS Replacements BMCS Group 1; a $93,129.00 credit for HVAC Priority Chiller Replacements at Miller IS and Golden Acres ES; a $49,627.84 credit for Roof Replacements Package 3 at multiple schools; and a $247,713.00 credit for Hydronic Piping Replacement at Burnett and Frazier elementary schools. The board approved an Allowance Expenditure Authorization No. 001 for the New Williams Elementary School Replacement Project for $34,889.00 as well as purchases for 50 UPS units (estimated $83,000) and Internet Port Services (estimated $151,000). All motions passed unanimously, 7-0.
The approvals realign contracts and authorizations for ongoing bond projects and IT equipment acquisition.
