Nederland ISD board authorizes eRate-related technology contracts for middle schools
The board approved contracts tied to FCC Form 470 for middle-school technology from Region 5, Vero Networks and Advanced Networks and delegated signing authority to the superintendent; vote was unanimous.

The Nederland ISD Board approved contracts in connection with FCC Form 470 at its March 23 meeting covering technology purchases for middle schools. Assistant Superintendent Erica Gauthier explained that the agenda item "is for technology items in the middle schools from Region 5, Vero Networks, and Advanced Networks." Mr. Micah Mosley moved to approve the contracts and delegate authority to the superintendent to execute agreements with selected vendors; Ms. Roya Scott seconded the motion and the board voted 5-0 in favor.
