Civil Service Commission adopts and amends multiple class specifications

On May 12 the commission adopted class specifications for Senior Account Clerk (HELP Program) and Physical Therapist (BOCES) and amended specifications for Case Work Aide, Deputy Director of Emergency Services, Deputy Sheriff, and Senior Human Resources Associate; staff were directed to notify appointing authorities.
The Cayuga County Civil Service Commission on May 12 adopted new class specifications and approved amendments to several existing specifications.
Commissioner Ryan M. Foley moved and Chairman Bruce D. Sherman seconded adoption of class specifications for Senior Account Clerk (HELP Program) in Social Services and Physical Therapist (School) for BOCES; the motions were recorded as approved and staff were directed to notify the appointing authorities. The commission also recorded amendments to class specifications for Case Work Aide (Social Services), Deputy Director of Emergency Services (Emergency Management), Deputy Sheriff (Sheriff’s Department), and Senior Human Resources Associate (Human Resources & Civil Service Commission). For the Case Work Aide amendment (item A) the minutes indicate a directed change to minimum qualifications to include items labeled (A) and (B).
