The McCamey ISD Board of Trustees voted on Jan. 28 to purchase comprehensive coverage through the Texas Association of School Boards (TASB) for the 2026 policy year. The coverage lumps auto, liability, property, privacy and information-security, a comprehensive violent act option and workers’ compensation; the meeting minutes record the total premium amount as $400,464.00 for coverage from Feb. 1, 2026 through Jan. 31, 2027.
