A board member reported seeing a Channel 4 segment that included Lindstroms downtown mural and said the story portrayed the town as a focal point for Northern European immigration. Dan read a quote from the segment referencing a local resident and suggested the positive publicity be noted in the Lindstrom Ledger.
"Highway 8, you literally feel like you've entered the Swedish landscapes of Carleen Dunston who moved to Lindstrom with her late Swedish husband, Lars," Dan read from the write-up the board member found. Members agreed the coverage was beneficial marketing and instructed staff to consider noting the segment in the Ledger.
