The board granted special-permit relief for four new windows (side and rear setbacks) and a front garden window at 98 R Sherman Street to increase natural light and interior quality of life. Applicant representatives said most new windows are not visible from the street; the motion passed unanimously.

Homeowner Carolyn Fisher and representative Shaniae Subran told the board on Sept. 5 that the project at 98 R Sherman Street would add four new windows (side and rear) and a garden window to increase natural light inside the home. Subran said the openings are largely on the sides or rear and will not be visible from the street.
