The Henry County Public Safety Committee voted unanimously June 15 to approve a mass notification system after its prior provider's contract was terminated because of federal-level changes. Member Shannon Bumann moved to approve the system and Member Bob Wachtel seconded; the roll-call vote was recorded as all in favor and the motion carried.
