Mr. Zessin said the board reviewed and analyzed input collected at public meetings and from a district survey and referenced materials from the Nebraska Department of Education, Central Community College and the University of Nebraska at Kearney. "The board began to prioritize all of the information to begin forming the portrait of a graduate," the presentation recorded. Board members did not take a formal vote on any specific competencies during the special meeting; the work was described as an initial prioritization step.
