Long Prairie authorizes five-year Joint Powers Agreement with Minnesota BCA
The council adopted Resolution No. 26-05-13-12 approving a five-year Joint Powers Agreement with the Minnesota Department of Public Safety, Bureau of Criminal Apprehension to access criminal justice data systems; the City Administrator/Clerk was designated authorized representative and the Mayor and Clerk were authorized to sign.

The Long Prairie City Council adopted Resolution No. 26-05-13-12 on May 13, 2026, approving a Joint Powers Agreement between the city (on behalf of its prosecuting attorney) and the State of Minnesota Department of Public Safety, Bureau of Criminal Apprehension (BCA). The agreement grants the city access to criminal justice data communications systems for a five-year period and allows the city to add or modify connectivity, systems and tools over the term.
