The Royalton Public School District Board voted on June 18, 2025 to appoint Wayne LePard as interim superintendent, with a recorded 5–0 vote and one member absent. The motion to proceed to a vote was made by Lucas Boyd and seconded by Randy Hackett; the board recorded each member's choice and declared the motion passed.
