Board recognizes IB candidates and student research projects at May meeting

The Rockford Board of Education spent part of its May 19 meeting recognizing student achievement. The board celebrated IB Full Diploma candidates Harrison (Max) Edwards and Riley Moran and Career-Related Diploma candidates McKenna Bernard, Vanessa Lee, Marcus Dietman, Sawyer Egbert and Oliver Stewart.
RMS-CES Principal Paul Warzecha presented the RMS principal’s report and named RMS-CES teacher Jan Hendrickson as the Rocket Spotlight Award recipient. Students Penny Yang, Hudson Bright, Bailey Berent, Sophia Miller, Reegan Mullins, and Ryan Erickson were recognized for research and development ideas related to Minnesota environmental law.
