The board accepted Director David Ligatich’s resignation from Position 7, effective Nov. 20, 2025 (Motion 36). The motion, moved by Shawn Farrens and seconded by Kris Howatt, carried with five ayes, zero no, one absent and one abstention (Ligatich).
After the vote Ligatich read his resignation letter and reflected on his service, saying, “this decision did not come lightly, and this has been one of the biggest opportunities to give back to the community.” Board members expressed gratitude for his service and noted his enthusiasm for school visits and engagement with students.
