The Klamath County School District Board of Directors unanimously approved an administrators' contract at a special meeting on Aug. 14, 2025, after returning from an executive session on negotiations. John Rademacher moved "I move we approve the Administrators' Contract as presented with length of contract to be determined, with an emphasis on achieving a four-year contract," and Steve Lowell seconded; the motion passed 5–0.
Board members who recorded "Yea" votes were Katie Bruner, Brooke Kliewer, Steve Lowell, John Rademacher and Marc Staunton. The board recessed to executive session citing Negotiations under ORS 192.660(2)(d) before returning to open session at 6:11 PM to take the vote.
