Gresham-Barlow board approves agenda, holds closed session on superintendent evaluation

The Gresham-Barlow School District No. 10 JT Board of Directors approved the meeting agenda at the special work session called to order by Board Chair Blake Petersen at 6:02 p.m. on Jan. 8, 2026. Board member Kris Howatt moved, "Move to approve the meeting agenda as presented," a motion seconded by Shawn Farrens; the motion carried, Aye: 6, No: 0.
After approving the agenda, the board recessed into executive session at 6:02 p.m. "in order to discuss the Superintendent Evaluation pursuant to ORS 192.660(2)(i)," the minutes state; executive sessions are closed to the public, virtual attendees were excused and audio/video was muted, and the minutes note that no decision may be made during the executive session. The board reconvened the special work session at 6:49 p.m. and adjourned later that evening.
