Administrator McCafferty led council through an extensive discussion of the draft recreation fee ordinance, covering resident and non-resident use, fees for businesses holding for-profit events, locations of event spaces and required maintenance, and the application process. The council discussed which locations would be subject to fees and how the borough would enforce maintenance responsibilities.
Administrator McCafferty and Solicitor Wright will work on finalizing the ordinance language before future meetings. The minutes show the council engaged substantively on the fee structure and procedural steps but did not adopt an ordinance at the March 24 work session.
