The board unanimously approved a resolution adopting prevailing wage rates for Waller ISD public works and facilities construction projects, adopting regional industry-reported rates to ensure basic wages for workers.

Construction Manager Megan Davis presented a resolution asking the board to adopt prevailing wage rates for district public works and construction facilities projects. The board was told rates were set based on a collaborative industry report for the Houston area. Vice President Maria Herrera moved to approve the resolution and Trustee Brittany Neel seconded; the motion carried 7-0-0.
