Council discussed extending pool operations beyond the typical season to provide additional programming and parties into September. City Manager Henry said he would meet with the recreation director and operations staff to gather cost estimates for lifeguards, chemicals and electricity and that, if council wanted to continue the season, staff would implement the extension and later bring a budget amendment if additional funds were needed.
