Superintendent Mark Branko reported that negotiations with RESA produced tentative agreements in nearly all areas, with an outstanding appendix related to evaluation documents. He described the talks as collaborative and said he expects a final tentative agreement this week followed by union ratification when members return from the holidays.
Branko said that if RESA ratifies the agreement, the committee could take a vote on Jan. 8; he also thanked the negotiating team and said the collegial nature of the talks made for a productive process. "I have not been part of something so collaborative in a long time," he said, praising both the RESA members and the district negotiating team.
