The Roma ISD Board of Trustees voted on Oct. 8, 2025 to appoint Jaime Escobar as the district's Appraisal Director. Superintendent Carlos M. Gonzalez, Jr. presented the nomination; Trustee Iv Garza, Jr. made the motion to nominate Escobar and Trustee Mary Lou G. Cruz seconded. The motion carried 5-0.
