Mr. Austin said the current media teacher indicated interest in a full-time media position, which would then require hiring a full-time English teacher to cover affected classes.
Committee members asked Mr. Austin to produce additional information outlining the educational and fiscal impact of adding a staff member and to present those findings at Monday's full board meeting.
