A staff member told commissioners the new chambers system had some bugs and that they had opened the procurement files in their office so a commissioner could read the submissions into the record. "I went ahead and did that in my office about 5 minutes ago," the staff member said, then asked the board to ratify or acknowledge that the bids had been unsealed.
The staff member walked the commissioners through an alternate way to access procurement documents on the county website (Departments โ Procurement) and noted this was the first bid opening in the new chambers and new system. The board acknowledged the staff action and proceeded with the reading and acceptance of the submissions for further review.
