Comal County Commissioners approved a restrictive covenant for a 2.609‑acre county‑owned parcel on Ammon West to restrict use to passive open space due to its location within the regulatory floodplain. County Engineer Robert Boyd explained the county had previously abandoned the old alignment of Ammon Road and retained this parcel; staff proposed covenant language prohibiting 4‑walled structures and RV parks and directing the property to be placed for auction by the purchasing office under those restrictions.
