Gordon County approves routine contracts, a public‑works task order and a finance policy update
The board approved a surplus declaration for the sheriff's office, renewal of the Tax Assessors' qPublic portal with Schneider Geospatial for $18,295, a $1,265 virtual training subscription for E9‑1‑1, EXP Services Task Order #5 for Soda Creek not to exceed $37,500, and amended the county financial policy to incorporate a Credit Card Policy — all on 5‑0 votes. At its July 21 session the Gordon County Board of Commissioners approved several routine procurement and policy items. The board declared certain Sheriff's Office items surplus and approved the Tax Assessors' renewal agreement with Schneider Geospatial, LLC for the qPublic portal at an annual cost of $18,295 to be charged to GL Account 416‑531604. The E9‑1‑1 office's Virtual Academy subscription with Savant Learning Systems, Inc. (dba Virtual Academy) for $1,265 was approved to be budgeted to GL Account 445‑531604.
