Controller reports budget amendments, grant activity and CT scanner coordination

The Board approved General Fund and Special Revenue Fund budget amendments dated Sept. 14, 2024, by unanimous roll-call votes. Controller Paul Compo presented the amendments and provided updates on several operational items.
Compo said there is ongoing coordination between IT staff and external vendors about a CT scanner issue and reported that "there is nothing new to report from the power company." He also said SME, the firm that prepared a prior EPA grant, will submit another grant application due in November and that a Materials Management Plan planning committee must be in place by the end of the year.
