Bezely also briefed the board on non-grant community services: the village opted to purchase three larger trees annually through contractor Morgan Wilson as a cost-effective alternative to pursuing a tree grant; electronics recycling events are planned for May 2026 (dates pending); yard-waste collection runs April 1—Nov. 30 with a resident fee of $105.84 (eight months at $13.23/month) and weekly Thursday pickup; developer Sonny Singh of T&A reported no new updates but expects to follow up by April 1; and a recent Red Cross blood drive collected 35 donations, exceeding the target of 23.
