Commissioner Mary Patchin proposed several steps to position Lansing as a regional trail tourism hub, including creating a QR code for trail users that promotes local businesses and a "Bandwango Passport" to highlight trail amenities. The committee discussed targeting offers or coupons to restaurants, stores and other local businesses to encourage multi-day visits and suggested linking trail visits to Fox Pointe concert schedules to increase overnight stays.
