A suite of county term contracts for engineering, construction management and consulting services was approved at the Dec. 17 special meeting. Resolutions introduced by Legislators Hughes-Smith and Maffucci and vetted by the Environment and Public Works and Ways and Means committees authorized agreements with firms including Arcadis of New York, Day Engineering P.C., MRB Group, LiRo Engineers, Barton & Loguidice, C&S Architects, Stantec, SWBR, T.Y. Lin, GEI Consultants and others for wastewater, environmental consulting, sustainability, general engineering and landfill geological services. Recorded votes on those resolutions were 26–0.
