Legislature OKs multiple engineering, construction management and consulting term contracts

Resolutions introduced by Legislators Hughes-Smith and Maffucci and vetted by the Environment and Public Works and Ways and Means committees authorized agreements with firms including Arcadis of New York, Day Engineering P.C., MRB Group, LiRo Engineers, Barton & Loguidice, C&S Architects, Stantec, SWBR, T.Y. Lin, GEI Consultants and others for wastewater, environmental consulting, sustainability, general engineering and landfill geological services. Recorded votes on those resolutions were 26–0.
The contracts were presented as term services to support multiple county departments, including Public Works and Solid Waste management; committee approvals and cross-references appear on the meeting docket. The minutes do not include contract dollar amounts or detailed service scopes.
