Monroe County adopts 2025 budget after amendments that trim Visit Rochester and add local program funding
Intro. 377 (Adoption of the 2025 Monroe County Budget) was adopted after several amendment motions that, among other changes, reduced the Visit Rochester commitment (from proposed cuts of $150,000 down to $60,000 in later motion) and added $30,000 line-item appropriations for several local nonprofits and programs.

The Legislature adopted Intro. 377 (24-0350), the 2025 Monroe County Budget establishing classification, compensation and the 2025 salary schedule. The main motion for adoption was recorded after lifting the item from the table; Res. 308 is noted in the minutes as passing with a recorded roll call.
