Dr. Matt Gordon reviewed Rankin’s recent history with STL and told the committee staff survey results regarding STL were positive. He said STL holds a great deal of institutional knowledge about the district and that, while STL was the lowest-cost bid, he would have retained STL for continuity regardless of price.
Gordon noted the Board of Education approved STL last month to provide managed services for the 2025–2026 school year. The committee expressed support for continuing with STL given the vendor’s familiarity with Rankin’s systems and existing support processes.
