At the June 3 meeting of the Vinalhaven Library Board, Library Director Jen reported monthly service figures: circulation totaled 374, interlibrary loans were 7, program attendance was 69 and Cloud Library checkouts numbered 18. She also said the library has added a sign-up link on its webpage to support program staffing and volunteers.
Jen outlined upcoming summer programming, including a 10 a.m. children’s music program on June 24 with Kevin Gilson and a June 24 talk by James Francis Sr. in cooperation with the Historical Society’s Wabanaki exhibit. She noted that Toddler Time is on break until the fall and that homeschool and first-grade visits occurred on May 14 and May 29, respectively. The transcript does not record public comment or a formal vote tied to these program announcements.
