Commissioners approve budget transfers, supplemental appropriations and routine resolutions

Key actions recorded in the journal include inter‑fund transfers: $121,206.50 to JFS (Reentry), $662,000 to General Bond Retirement, $777,000 to Sheriff 911 dispatching and other quarter‑two budget transfers. The board authorized a supplemental appropriation moving $210,000 to Sheriff operating expenses and a $696.56 transfer for jail pay‑for‑stay. Then‑and‑now warrants were approved for several late invoices and travel and expense allowances were authorized for staff training and events. The board also authorized disposal of a 2017 Dodge Ram 2500 via online auction and the disposal of expired medical supplies from the Sheriff’s Office (Resolutions 2026-0484 through 0489 and 0483 and 0479).
All motions and resolutions in this package passed on unanimous roll call. Commissioners emphasized these actions are routine quarter‑two housekeeping and facilitate payments and procurement already undertaken by county departments.
